My artifacts demonstrating this standard (What?) Drama in many cases is not valued as it worth. Many teachers see it as a waste of time because they see students laugh or feel they spend too much time developing it, but drama is a powerful tool that students enjoy, and the most important part is that they learn. In dramas students are able to practice their oral skill, also, their writing skill since they can write their manuscript to be used in their dramas. They are able to practice their listening skill because they listen to their peers, so they are having a real world conversation among them. They are also able to enhance in meaningful language production. In fact, real communication involves not only grammar structures and isolated sentences, but also emotions, ideas, feelings, gestures, and imagination.
Drama can be incorporated as:
· Role plays
· Warm-ups
· Time fillers
· Free activities
· Peer correction activity
· Oral test

These three websites are good sources to know how to use drama in our classes, giving us new ideas to use drama differently each time.
My Reflection on meeting this standard (So What?)
By using drama techniques to teach English, the monotony of a conventional English class can be broken since students are able to use their linguistic abilities through dramatizing. Also, students need to be autonomous of their learning, so giving them the chance to manipulate their skills, they are able to follow the best way they feel suitable for them. Using drama techniques also fulfills socio-affective requirements of the learners since dramas help students interact with their peers. However, it is necessary to think about students comfort while developing dramas since some of the students may not feel comfortable with this technique.
My Future Learning Goals related to this standard (Now What?)
Since one of the concerns of using drama in the classroom is students’ comfort, it is important to make students feel comfortable. Also, it is necessary to make students be aware of the importance of using drama. We must teach students how dramas may empower their learning. We must remember that it is necessary to give the purpose of every single activity we develop in the class to make the teaching/learning process more efficient and effective. However, to give the purpose is not enough if the purpose is not interesting and meaningful for students, so the first step is to think and create a good purpose for students, then, to establish such purpose, and finally, to meet the goal and the purpose of the activity. Furthermore, it is important to point out that students feel more motivated when they know they can monitor and control their own learning.
